The part-time Human Resources Coordinator willplay a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the HR department. The job duties include:
• New Hire Process Support - administersdrug screens and ensures that all required background checks are completed andapproved before the new hire attends orientation. Conducts or assists with newhire orientation.
• Employee Records Management - maintains accurate and up to date employeerecords and assists with the preparation of reports as needed.
• Employee Relations Support -answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative tostandard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.
• Administrative Support - providesclerical support to the HR department. Assistswith workers compensation and leave of absence tracking and follow up asappropriate.
• Projects and Initiatives - participatesin and assists with planning and execution of special events such as job fairs,employee recognition events, holiday parties, etc. as requested. Acts as a backup for the HR Director asappropriate with proper training.

- Bachelor's degree and/or related experience preferred.

- Familiarity with HR software,Microsoft Office Suite, and data management tools.
