Job Description As a Truck Driver - CDL Class A, you will operate a tractor trailer that transports cargo daily to and from local customer locations. You will prepare, receive and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of goods to ensure timely service. You will load, secure and unload cargo, and maintain a log of travel and cargo according to federal and state regulations.
Shift: Monday through Friday; 7:00AM - 5:00PM

A Day in The Life of a CDL Truck Driver As a CDL Truck Driver you will be responsible for transporting cargo to and from specified destinations. You will prepare, receive, and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick-up of goods to ensure timely service. * Must have a "satisfactory" driving record. Must have CDL Classification/Certification. Requires applicable truck driver license for state.
- Drive a truck with capacity up to three tons and usually six wheels to transport materials
- Load, secure, verify, and unload cargo
- Prepare delivery schedule
- Deliver materials to locations designated by the customer
- Obtain customer's signature for proof of delivery and help to unload truck
- Perform the duties of Warehouse Associate when not driving the truck and making deliveries

Education & Experience - High school degree or equivalent required
- Must have a valid CDL License
- 2 years required of truck driving experience
- Forklift experience
Skills & Requirements - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to be on your feet for extended periods
- Vision - near, far, night
- Ability to detect or tell differences between sounds varying in pitch and loudness
- Ability to quickly respond (with hand, finger, foot) to signals (sound, light, picture) when it appears
