Job Summary:
The Human Resources Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the daily functions of the HR department, ensuring smooth operations, compliance, and employee satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Assist with job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Coordinate onboarding processes, including new hire orientations and paperwork completion.
- Ensure compliance with E-Verify and other legal requirements.
- HR Administration:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems.
- Process employment verifications and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Assist with payroll preparation by providing relevant employee information (e.g., leaves of absence, sick days, etc).
- Employee Relations:
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives and company events.
- Help resolve employee concerns in collaboration with HR leadership.
- Compliance & Benefits:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Support benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries.
- Assist with tracking and reporting leave balances, including FMLA and other statutory requirements.
- General Support:
- Prepare and ship uniforms for new employes, with occasional trips to our Orlando warehouse.
- Provide administrative support for HR projects and initiatives.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and procedures.
Qualifications: - 1-2 years of HR experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Familiarity with HR systems (e.g., HRIS, ATS) and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices is a plus.
- Experience with Paylocity is preferred.
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is highly desirable.
