Job Summary:
The Human Resources Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the daily functions of the HR department, ensuring smooth operations, compliance, and employee satisfaction. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment & Onboarding:
    • Assist with job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
    • Coordinate onboarding processes, including new hire orientations and paperwork completion.
    • Ensure compliance with E-Verify and other legal requirements.
  • HR Administration:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems.
    • Process employment verifications and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
    • Assist with payroll preparation by providing relevant employee information (e.g., leaves of absence, sick days, etc).
  • Employee Relations:
    • Serve as a first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
    • Assist with employee engagement initiatives and company events.
    • Help resolve employee concerns in collaboration with HR leadership.
  • Compliance & Benefits:
    • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
    • Support benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries.
    • Assist with tracking and reporting leave balances, including FMLA and other statutory requirements.
  • General Support:
    • Prepare and ship uniforms for new employes, with occasional trips to our Orlando warehouse.
    • Provide administrative support for HR projects and initiatives.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of HR experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Familiarity with HR systems (e.g., HRIS, ATS) and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices is a plus.
  • Experience with Paylocity is preferred.
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is highly desirable.
