The Terrace at The Glen, an enriched housing residence, provides assistance with personal care, medication management and maintaining a healthy diet for residents with the same unparalleled services offered by The Glen.nnAs a member of our caring, compassionate health care team the LPN will enjoy:nnFlexible schedulennWork with residents that need assistance with daily living, but not nursing home carennManagement team that is supportive and will be working on the floor next to you not in an officennFamily atmosphere between staff, residents and resident family members alikennLeader that is very approachable and strong promoter of team work and team engagementnnContinual development and education on new techniques and skillsnnGrowing and developing teamnnLocation with an easy commute from Saratoga, Glens Falls, Wilton, Warrensburg and areas of VermontnnShadow experiences for those interested in getting additional insight on this rewarding opportunitynnResponsibilities:nnThe nursing care of residents under the direction of the Nursing DirectornnOversee and mentor a team of resident assistantsnnPass medications to approximately 20 residentsnnBe able to self-direct with minimal guidance and prioritize tasks efficientlynnMaintain detailed documentation and communicate and changes in residents needs to the teamnnFoster at all times resident independence and freedom of choicennEducation of families to make the most out of their visits with their loved onesnnWhat you will need:nnValid NYS LPN licensenn1+ year of experience working in a direct patient care role handling med passesnn1+ year of experience as a LPN, but willing to help train the right candidate to further their skillsnnUnderstanding of assisted living regulationsnnMaintain the highest level of customer service while completing day to day duties and responsibilitiesnnCommunicate effectively in a fast pace work environmentnnEngage within a team settingnnStrong leadership and mentorship of the Resident Assistant staffnnThink, act and intervene independently in both routine and emergency situationsnnPassion to learn, grow and develop in the nursing fieldnnPay Range: $24.00 - $30.10nnPay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
