Here, you will work alongside passionate and dedicated caregivers, receive endless support and appreciation, and build a rewarding career with one of the most respected healthcare organizations in the world.nnWeston Hospital's Cardiac Cath Lab cares for cardiac patients on both an elective and emergent basis who are having/have had a heart transplant or have been diagnosed with a myocardial infarction, acute coronary syndrome, valvular heart disease or peripheral vascular disease.nnA caregiver in this position works 7:00am - 5:30pm with on-call requirements.nnCaregiver must live within 30mins of hospital to meet call requirement.nnA caregiver who excels in this role will:nnProvide direct nursing care.nnImplement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.nnMonitor, record, document and communicate patients' conditions.nnAdminister prescribed medications and treatments.nnNote and carry out physician and nursing orders.nnAssess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.nnEducate patients and their families.nnMinimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:nnGraduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.nnCurrent state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).nnBasic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).nnOne year of current acute care RN experience.
