Staff Psychiatrist, Correctional Facility (SAFETY)
$169.49 - $174.40 hourly rate
Limited Term 12 months; may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent.
California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS) is seeking psychiatrist currently employed with the state of California who are interested in additional appointments to provide after-hours coverage in a part-time capacity. These uncommon positions are available to all psychiatrists currently employed with the State of California who are not supervisors, managers, or executives. While your additional appointment may service the institution/worksite where you are currently assigned to work, you may not perform the same duties as your full time appointment, e.g. not in the same yard or unit.
