What You'll Do - Work collaboratively with intra and interdepartmental staff to administer and oversee treatment for behavioral health patients utilizing nationally recognized treatment standards and documenting utilizing an electronic health record system
- Supervise the assistant state psychiatry director as well as the advanced practice registered nurse supervisor
- Provide direction and guidance to all institutional psychiatrists
- Manage clinical policy and program development and oversight
- Perform duties in accordance with scope of practice; ODRC policies, procedures, protocols; and related American Correctional Association standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement meetings and activities, including peer reviews
- Engage in collaborative agreements, as needed
- Provide direct patient care
- Share responsibilities of 24-hour off-site on-call as needed (provision of on-call services are included as part of the normal job duties and do not garner extra compensation)
