Department: EventOperations
Reports To: Coordinator, Event Operations
Position Overview: The San Jose Earthquakes of Major League Soccer, MLS, are looking for individuals who want to work as part of the Event Staff for the 2025 MLS Season. The Event Staff will work on and assist with the set up and breakdown of all events at PayPal Park.
DUTIES:
• Set-up and breakdown of equipment for events
• Perform general labor as assigned, including movement of barricades, tents, tables, chairs, etc.
• Event support for all stadium events
• Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
• Can work under pressure and make changes on the fly
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays based on event schedule
• Communicate clear and concise messages to fellow crew members
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Must have good customer service skills
• Ability to perform general labor; able to lift at least 40 pounds
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Detail-oriented
• Punctuality is a must
• Able to communicate in a professional and courteous manner with staff
• Familiarity with the use and safety of basic hand tools and other equipment
PREFERRED:
• A valid DMV issued driver's license
• Certified forklift operator license
Pay rate: Starting at $21/hr
