Per Diem Nurse Practitioner Job Location: Pell City, AL.
Job Type: Per Diem, 1099.
Pay rate: $130/hr for onsite patient care, $100/hr for virtual lab review.
Schedule: TBD Spring 2025.
Full Description VitalCheck Wellness is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide general wellness checkups on site at a private business in
Pell City, AL . Our office arranges the patient appointments and does the administrative work, giving you the time and luxury to provide clinical one-on-one patient care.
Responsibilities: - Provide general wellness checkups.
- Consult with patients to understand their health concerns.
- Advise/refer patients for follow-up care.
- Perform blood draws for patients.
- Provide telemedicine services for lab review follow-ups.
- Prescribe low impact and high satisfaction medicine (as needed).
Requirements: - Valid NP license to practice in AL.
- Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)/ (FNP-C)/ (FNP-BC)/ Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) certified.
- Background in internal medicine, family practice, urgent care, or emergency room.
- Must be able to perform phlebotomy.
- Must be proficient with computers, customer service-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Must have a collaborating MD to cover this job.
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including booster shot).
- Must be able to reliably commute to Pell City, AL
