With an exceptional reputation in the industry, they are now expanding their US operations further having been operating in the US for the last 2 years.With a substantial pipeline of projects in both the early and delivery phase, our client are actively looking to grow their Analysis team and expand across multiple regions including ERCOT, CAISO & WECC .This opportunity will include in-depth analysis of ERCOT , CAISO and WECC markets identifying key trends and regulatory changes. Job Description
The Energy Market Analyst (BESS) will be responsible for:

• Conduct in-depth analysis of the ERCOT , CAISO & WECC markets, identifying key trends, regulatory changes, and market drivers impacting BESS operations.

• Provide expert advice on market entry strategies, revenue optimization, and risk management for BESS assets in ERCOT, WECC and CAISO.

• Develop and maintain energy market models to forecast prices, grid dynamics, and the impact of potential market changes on BESS operations.

• Stay up-to-date with market regulations, rule changes, and policy developments in ERCOT , WECC and CAISO, advising the team on potential impacts and opportunities.

• Work closely with our engineering, operations, and business development teams to align market insights with operational strategies.

• Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate market insights, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to senior management.

The Successful Applicant
The Energy Market Analyst (BESS) will have:

• Experience in ERCOT , CAISO or WECC markets of the market structures, dynamics, and regulations, minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

• Proficiency in developing and utilizing energy market models to forecast prices and evaluate project market revenues

• Demonstrated ability to monitor, interpret, and provide guidance on regulatory changes and policies specific to ERCOT, WECC or CAISO, with direct impact on BESS operations.

• Experience with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), understanding their operational and market integration.

• A proven track record in providing strategic advice on market entry, revenue optimization, and risk management, specifically within the context of ERCOT , CAISO or WECC energy markets.
