Certification Details BLS ACLS TNCC NIHSS Valid state licensure/certification as required for services being performed Job Details ICU SURGICAL RN Start Date: ASAP (4 weeks from offer for compliance requirements). Orientation for this unit will be held bi-weekly on Mondays. i.e. 12/23, 1/6, 1/20 etc Shift: 3x12 variables Ratios: 1:2 Years of Experience REQ: Minimum one year Required: Critical Care Experience. Management of ventriculostomy, EVD, and ICP. Nursing care of patients with non-traumatic ICH, non-traumatic SAH, seizures. Nursing care of patients post tPA, thrombectomy, aneurysm coiling, carotid artery stenting and intra-cranial stenting. Management of blood pressure abnormalities with parenteral vasoactive agents. Completion of complex neurological assessments/scales. Would like CV or Neuro experience. Epic Experience REQ? 1 year of Epic experience is required. First-Timers Accepted: I am looking for a trained nurse with experience. Would prefer an experienced traveler with 2-3 prior completed assignments. Weekend REQ: Must be open to working any and all days. Travelers float between SICU and MICU. Also float to Telemetry, Acute Care (neurology, Surgical, Ortho/Med) Obs, ED boarding.
