Contract Length: 26 Weeks (6 Months) with option to extend
Shift Details: 5 x 12
18:00 - 6:00
Schedule: Monday-Friday 6a-6p, optional weekend call rotation taking Saturday OR Sunday (these may just be set up as regular working days vs call but client is clarifying the hours)
Work Details:
• Support staff: CRNA in-house overnight
• Amount of coverage needed per month: 20 open shifts per month but perm docs participate in a night shift/call rotation as well.
• Patients per day: apprx 1000 cases per month; nightly cases vary based on emergencies coming in
• Patient population/age: Adult and some health pediatrics
• Department description: Anesthesiology
• EMR: Cerner
• Hospital bed size: 318; Level II Trauma
• Skills required: everything level II; CRNA in-house overnight; lots of OB, ortho, hearts (not required but preferred), brain, abdominal or chest trauma, MVAs, bullet wounds, stab wounds. OB, abdominal and chest trauma, MVAs, bullet wounds, stab wounds most common on overnights (coming into ER)
Practice Setting:
• Hospital Level 2 Trauma
Requirements:
• Board Certification: Yes, Anesthesiology
• State license required: No (Willing to License)
• DEA: Yes
• CSR: No
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, ATLS
• Minimum experience required: 2 Years minimum
Credentialing Timeframe: 60 - 90Days
