Overview:

Responsible for the timely transport of inpatients to the clinical areas of the hospital. Moving patients to different areas of the hospital, such as operating rooms, treatment areas, and special service departments. Communicates any situation or patient care needs to clinical staff. Assures that transport equipment is functional.
Qualifications: High School graduate or GED. Previous medical background experience preferred. Nursing Assistant Level I certification preferred. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
