Coordinates with inventory to time the shipment of specific materials in line with production schedules and inventory goals. Works with suppliers to procure the appropriate materials for production. May assist in the production scheduling process.nnEssential Duties and Responsibilities:nnThe Materials Analyst will utilize Industrial Engineering and Supply Chain Management concepts to Minimize Inventory, Handling and Logistics cost to ensure successful delivery of material at Optimum Cost.nnResponsible for accuracy of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Releases to the Supplier, Freight Spending, Reconciliation of the Supplier Receipts for Accounts Payable.nnManage Material Inventory levels.nnManage Change Implementation during Product Launch.nnWork with IT Teams and other functional departments to develop and Implement Enterprise Management Systems.nnEnsure MBOM (Manufacturing Bill of Materials) are structured accurately in the MMS (Material Management Systems).nnAbility to determine best production scheduling practices and complementing Inventory Control Strategies.
