Excellent opportunity for an entry level college graduate interested in supply chain to join Avanzar's automotive seating plant. The Materials Analyst works with suppliers, production, materials and inventory management to ensure the appropriate materials are available to meet the production schedule. Coordinates with inventory to time the shipment of specific materials in line with production schedules and inventory goals. Works with suppliers to procure the appropriate materials for production. May assist in the production scheduling process.nnEssential Duties and Responsibilities:nnThe Materials Analyst will utilize Industrial Engineering and Supply Chain Management concepts to Minimize Inventory, Handling and Logistics cost to ensure successful delivery of material at Optimum Cost.nnResponsible for accuracy of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Releases to the Supplier, Freight Spending, Reconciliation of the Supplier Receipts for Accounts Payable.nnManage Material Inventory levels.nnManage Change Implementation during Product Launch.nnWork with IT Teams and other functional departments to develop and Implement Enterprise Management Systems.nnEnsure MBOM (Manufacturing Bill of Materials) are structured accurately in the MMS (Material Management Systems).nnAbility to determine best production scheduling practices and complementing Inventory Control Strategies. Establishes Replenishment systems to be used for smooth Material Flow across the plant.nnCo-ordination of Material Imports.nnAbility to analyze large data sets of transactions to Root cause an issue.nnUnderstanding of Financial Accounting Principles and execute strategies to improve KPI's (Key Performance Indicator's).nnThe Materials Analyst will use Appropriate Forecasting Techniques to order MaterialnnDetermine Supply Chain Communication Strategies;nnIdentify and Process Supplier Claims and participates in conflict resolution under the boundariesnnReviews and corrects any system error.nnEducation and Experience:nnHigh school diploma or University degree. 0-2 Years minimum experience desired.nnPRIMARY LOCATIONnnAvanzar San Antonio FacilitynnManpowerGroup is committed to providing equal employment opportunities in a professional, high quality work environment.
