DescriptionnnPerforms and documents psychiatric evaluations and medication management for clients across the continuum of care (Detox, Residential, Outpatient), under established referral procedures;nnCompletes and documents mental status examinations, safety assessments, and assesses client’s appropriateness for level of care;nnParticipates and provides input/leadership in clinical team meetings for Detox, Residential and Outpatient services, and practices as a member of these multi-disciplinary team(s);nnGains understanding of Detox protocols and collaborates with Detox Nursing Staff to determine/order detox protocol medications and adjust taper protocols;nnProvides Medication Assisted Treatments to assigned clients at all levels of care;nnSupports Medication Assisted Treatment initiatives and participates in expansion of other evidence-based treatments;nnCompletes MAT-Buprenorphine Consultations to determine client appropriateness for Suboxone ™ / Sublocade ™ in collaboration with the Assistant Medical DirectornnAdditional Skills & QualificationsnnMD DegreennHas completed US accredited residency program in psychiatrynnHas completed accredited Addiction Psychiatry fellowshipnnBoard Certified in PsychiatrynnBoard Certified in Addiction Medicine and/or Addiction PsychiatrynnMinimum of two (2) years of experience practicing as a psychiatric practitioner in a clinical setting preferrednnMaintains current CT license and DEA license/registrationnnExperienced in addiction and co-occurring disordersnnCertified to prescribe BuprenorphinennMaintains a current CPR certificationnnPay and BenefitsnnThe pay range for this position is $290000.00 - $325000.00nnAbout the Company: Mountainside Treatment Center is a dynamic, fast-paced and growing recovery facility that values innovation and an obsession with providing Best in Class service to our Clients.
