Title:nnSenior Acquisition LeadnnKBR is seeking a Senior Acquisition Leads to serve as Subject Matter Experts (SME) to assist with the successful delivery of space control systems. You will play a crucial role in providing recommendations translating mission needs into operationally delivered end-to-end solutions through developing and coordinating documentation necessary for execution. These positions are based in El Segundo, CA, and focus on supporting the Hemisphere program within the Space Command and Control (Space C2) Program Management Office. As part of this role, you will be collaborating closely with the Space Systems Command (SSC) Battle Management Command, Control & Communications (BMC3) Program Executive Office (PEO). Your primary responsibilities will involve actively and directly contributing to the development, deployment, modernization, and expansion efforts of the Space C2 program.nnQualified candidates will have in-depth experience with DoD program acquisition processes that include generating source selection criteria, developing integrated master schedules, and/or developing supporting artifacts for defense acquisition boards. You will interact and coordinate daily with numerous stakeholders (Program Managers, Contracting Officers, Finance, System Engineers, and external/partner organizations). The successful candidate will have excellent communication and team skills.nnJob Description:nnProvides expert advice to the Government Program Manager and Senior Space Force Leadership regarding acquisition strategies, contracting, budgeting, and executionnnExpert in software acquisition programs within the DoD to include classified ACAT-like space control systemsnnOffers strategic approach for developing documentation required to support Defense Acquisition BoardsnnHighly knowledgeable in developing and coordinating all activities and documentation required to support source selectionsnnDemonstrated experience with Air Force contracting and Air Force financial managementnnFluent in being a team lead for acquisition and systems engineering professionals to support ongoing and emerging program acquisitionsnnExperienced in schedule management of DoD programsnnServes as a strategic problem solver for the program office and refines acquisition strategies, as well as identifies program execution issues with accompanying solution recommendationsnnGenerates presentation materials, status briefings, and strategic communication inputsnnPerform analyses of program business cases, risk assessments; and offers actionable recommendations to the Government Program Manager.nnDevelops and collaborates on acquisition planning briefings and documents (AoA, ASP, ASD, J&A, etc.)nnDevelops and collaborates on solicitation planning and execution documents (RFPs, SOWs, CDRLs, Incentive Plans, etc.)nnDrafts technical evaluations and functions as an advisor in Source SelectionsnnQualificationsnnMinimum Qualifications:nnBachelor’s Degree in related science field (systems engineering, software engineering) and 12 years of experiencennWell versed communication style to interface with all levels of functional/division acquisition officesnnTS SCI Clearance with an in-scope security background investigation (T5 or SSBI)nnAgreeable to be nominated for access to Special Access Programs and willing to consent to a Polygraph examinationnnPreferred Qualifications:nnMaster’s Degree in related science field (systems engineering, software engineering) and 10 years of experiencennUnderstands Program Management of ACAT I through ACAT III programsnnServed as an evaluator/advisor on at least one Source SelectionnnExperience with Confluence and JIRAnnSAP eligiblennCertifications: DAWIA/APDP Program Management Level III, Project Management Professional (PMP), and/or PMP Program Management Professional (PgMP)nnTarget salary range for El Segundonn$175,000……………$235,000nnThe offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.nnAdditional Compensation:nnKBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
