DescriptionnnThis is a position within the Consumer Lending Pricing & Profitability group, supporting the Home Equity business line. The Pricing & Profitability Analyst is responsible for business analytics, reporting, and profitability modeling to support the development of pricing recommendations and execution of pricing and product strategies. The successful candidate will need to have strong reporting and analytical skills in order to summarize large data sets into actionable insights based on financial and business indicators, and the ability to work with the business on improving business performance and delivering on strategic objectives.nnKey Responsibilities:nnMonitor originations and return trends to set expectations for month end performance results and to support the development of pricing recommendations as needednnProvide competitive benchmarking reporting to inform the business of application, origination, and pricing trends in the marketplacennSupport targeted pricing strategies by providing performance results at the pricing segment and channel levelnnProvide data and analytics to help evaluate financial and business impact of pricing changes and strategic initiativesnnWork with Marketing and Product partners to evaluate the effectiveness of acquisition and retention campaignsnnProvide portfolio analytics related to attrition and utilization trends by segmentnnMaintain projected profitability model - document, validate, and update inputs/assumptions as needednnUpdate pricing files and support rate change implementation effortsnnDevelop management presentations and business reviewsnnQualifications:nn3+ years of experience in quantitative, financial and/or pricing analyticsnnKnowledge of accounting and finance concepts and techniquesnnSkilled in software applicationsnnExperience with data extraction and manipulationnnExcellent analytical and research skills, ability to interpret financial and business results to identify trendsnnStrong communication and presentation skillsnnAbility to work independently but also collaborate productively on team projectsnnQualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional CredentialsnnBachelor's degree in economics, finance, or business administrationnnHours & Work SchedulennHours per Week: 40nnWork Schedule: M-F 8-5nnSome job boards have started using jobseeker-reported data to estimate salary ranges for roles.
