We are looking for an experienced Delivery truck driver, a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is NOT required. This position is based in Manassas, VA.nnRequirementsnnAble to pass pre-employment drug test. NOTE: This position is subject to federal regulations for drug/alcohol testing, as well as company policy.nnSatisfactory driving record (must be able to be underwritten by insurer and meet company requirements)nnSatisfactory DOT background check.nnAble to assist with loading and unloading materials by hand, as needed.nnAbility to drive throughout Maryland, DC, Virginia.nnStrong knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.nnAdaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.)nnResponsibilitiesnnAble to meet delivery schedules while safely operating assigned CMV.nnDocuments hours of service (HOS) as required by federal and state law, as well as company policynnEnsures proper handling and completion of paperwork (bills of lading, receipts, etc.)nnInspects and reports equipment defects; drives safely to prevent accidents and injuries.nnEnsures proper securement of loads.nnMay assist with unloading/loading materials.nnPerforms other tasks and duties as assigned, including training others.
