We value effective communication and honesty and believe teamwork based on mutual respect is key to success.nnJOB SUMMARYnnLicensced Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct and indirect patient care services that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care. The LPN communicates with physicians/manager/co-workers, as appropriate, about changes in the patient's clinical condition and symptomatology. Determines priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in home-like cottages.nnESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSnnProvide direct patient care, including administering medication, wound care, and monitoring vital signs.nnAssist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.nnCollaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.nnEducate patients and their families on healthcare procedures, medications, and self-care techniques.nnDocument patient information accurately and maintain medical records.nnMonitor and report changes in patients' conditions to the appropriate medical staff.nnAdhere to all nursing standards and protocols.nnDisclaimer: The above description has been designed to indicate the general nature of work performed within this position.nnPOSITION QUALIFICATIONSnnEducation / Experience / License and CertificationsnnCurrent unrestricted Wyoming Licensed Practical Nurse license.nnMinimum of 1 year of experience as a registered nurse preferred, but not required.nnBLS certification, required.nnFamiliarity with Cerner electronic health record system is a plus.nnProficiency in catheterization, DME (Durable Medical Equipment), sonography, and home care procedures.nnCentral Registry, required on start.nnAdditional SkillsnnStrong knowledge of nursing principles and practices.nnExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.nnThe ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.nnCompassionate and caring attitude towards patients.nnAttention to detail and strong organizational skills.nnSpecific demands not listed: Possible exposure to blood and or body fluids / infectious disease / hazardous waste requiring the use of Personal Protective Equipment.
