Know Your Rights: are seeking aTelemetry Nurse (Days),sometimes referred to as a Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) at Southern Regional Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare in Riverdale, GA. A Tele RN specializing in attending to patients within our telemetry units, including those needing cardiac monitoring. The Tele RN will monitor and interpret our patient's vital signs, such as heart rate, heart rhythm, respiratory rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation level. Continuous monitoring of patients, by the Telemetry RN enables gathering real-time data to make informed decisions regarding patient care, ensuring early detection of abnormalities or changes in the patient's condition.nnBonus Options:up to $20,000nnEmployment Type:Full TimennShifts Available:DaysnnEssential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):nnassess patients' conditions, including vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and overall health status, to create individualized care plansnnmonitor patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipment, which allows for remote monitoring of patients' heart rates and rhythmsnncommunicate with the physician about changes in the patient's clinical condition, including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies, and symptomatologynnadminister medications as prescribed by physicians, including intravenous medications, and monitor patients for any adverse reactionsnnprovide hands-on care to patients, including wound care, administering treatments, assisting with activities of daily living, and providing emotional supportnneducate patients and their families about their conditions, medications, and treatments, as well as provide guidance on self-care practices and lifestyle modifications in the Telemetry Unitnnrespond quickly to changes in patient conditions throughout shift and be able to address any concerns to the physician as soon as possiblennresponsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluationnnQualificationsnnEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAININGnnCurrent and valid state RN LicensennCurrent BLS certificate upon hire and maintain currentnnBasic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hirennCurrent ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain currentnnPrevious Acute Care hospital experience preferrednnVentilator Management experience preferrednnMedical-Surgical Nurse-Board Certified (RN-BC) or similar certification; preferrednnBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferrednn#LI-JJ3nnConnect With Us!
