Job Description
The Harmony Outreach Talent Acquisition Representative assists leadership with various aspects of the recruitment piece of the employee life cycle. This position is able to anticipate needs and accomplish tasks with minimal supervision or direction.
Key Roles/Responsibilities:
  • Participates with the Human Resource Team/Hiring Managers on recruiting planning meetings. Consults with Human Resources Team/Hiring Manager/Leadership to understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for the specified vacant position(s).
  • Collects and analyzes data to maintain current understanding of fair and competitive market salaries, candidate availability, and demand for candidates in particular fields.
  • Locates and documents resources to find qualified candidates. Develops a pool of qualified candidates; Maintains contact with possible future candidates.
  • Screens candidates, analyzes responses and compares qualifications of job requirements. Selects qualified and interested candidates for the interviewing phase, and then connects viable candidates with hiring managers. Counsels candidates on interviewing and hiring process.
  • Maintains the tracking of recruiting results and appropriate other tracking mechanisms and reports, including the weekly update of the recruitment spreadsheet.
  • Assists in the coordination of recruitment initiatives, including attending job fairs and other community events.
  • Conducts regular follow-up with leaders/hiring managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans.
  • Maintains and ensures compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations.
  • Manages and participates in projects as assigned.
  • Perform other duties, special assignments, and projects as assigned.
Requirement
  • 2-year degree and related experience, or high school education and related experience.
  • 2+ years talent acquisition experience highly desired.
  • Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail; ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work with little supervision, taking initiative in tasks that need to be done.
  • Ability to work with high level of integrity, using discretion with sensitive and/or confidential information.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with aptitude in conducting interviews.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment to meet critical and ongoing deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point and other software required; database experience helpful.
  • Thorough understanding of EEO, ADA, and other related employment laws and guidelines.
