LPN - Archbold Living Thomasville Position Description Education Requirements: Graduate of a school of Practical Nursing.
Licensed in the State of Georgia as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Certification in Basic Life Support.
LPN Experience: Entry level.
Experience preferred and long-term care experience a plus.
LPN Required Skills: Excellent communication skills.
Competency in providing resident care including age-appropriate interventions that meet physical, emotional, developmental, psychosocial and educational needs.
Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others in the workplace as essential functions of the job.
Honesty and maintaining professional composure in public are important aspects of the job.
Physical Demands: Good physical and mental health.
Supervises :
Care of group of residents and assigned nursing personnel
Supervised By: Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, Charge Nurse

Long Term Care Nurse Core:
Ability to effectively perform as Charge Nurse, if assigned.
Manage Med Cart and other equipment if assigned.
Maintain resident rights and confidentiality.
Participate in the annual State Survey of facilities.
Demonstrate effective clinical skills, and utilize the nursing process in planning or providing care for residents of all ages.
Maintain a safe environment for residents, co-workers, visitors and self.
Demonstrate the ability to document accurately and in a timely manner with the highest concern for accuracy and completeness.
Assume responsibility for maintaining current certifications and licensure required for position.
Ability to effectively supervise staff.
