n- Drivers are home daily!
n

This position is responsible for delivery of dedicated freight from Menards Distribution Center to Menards Stores, then returning to the Distribution Center.
n

Primary Responsibilities:
n

Dedicated store deliveries within 300 miles of the Distribution Center (drivers are home daily)
n n- n
Deliver drop and hook, no touch freight; returning with backhaul trailer to Distribution Center
n n- n
Maintain DOT compliance (Pre/Post checking equipment, keeping up to date DOT logs, informing management of any issue with equipment)
n n- n
Provide outstanding service to the stores by maintaining a professional environment
n n- n
Communicate any issues with the Transportation Manager
n n- n
Ability to maintain a schedule and work with fellow OTR drivers
n n
n
Position Requirements

Class A CDL
n n- n
Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT medical card)
n n- n
Reliable
n n- n
Hardworking
n n- n
Must possess a good driving record
n n- n
Experience operating tractor/trailer or willingness to learn
n n- n
Enjoy working outdoor
n n- n
Proof of valid driver’s license

Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, bending, climbing, and lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward

Warehouse environment can expose Team Members to temperature fluctuations (hot/cold), noise, dust, and uneven walking surfaces

Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently; lift up to 70 lbs. occasionally
