Position Responsibilities
As a Nocturnal Body Radiologist at Mount Sinai Medical Center, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team, providing essential diagnostic services to patients within the emergency department during nighttime hours. Your role will involve interpreting a range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs with a focus on emergency room volume.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging procedures, including general X-rays, GI fluoroscopic studies, ER CT, and MRI studies.
• Collaborate closely with emergency department physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop timely and accurate treatment plans for patients.
• Provide on-call coverage for emergency department imaging needs during nocturnal hours (9pm to 7am).
Qualifications
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Board certification or eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology. Subspecialty training or experience in Emergency Radiology is advantageous.
• Current or ability to obtain/maintain a Florida medical license.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills within a team environment.
