Laurel Crest Retirement Community is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team to create a warm hospitality experience for all our residents, staff and visitors. Our Healthcare has 34 beds total - 12 are Skilled Nursing.

What you will do:
- Provide nursing care/service on his/her shift, including the accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation and emergency calls.
- Assists the care plan team as directed by the Director of Nursing (DON), with the preparation, implementation, and review and updating of resident assessments and care plans.
- Gives and receives shift reports.
- Rounds periodically throughout shift to assure proper care is rendered in a safe and clean environment.
- Keeps physicians and families aware of changes in resident's condition.
- Schedules and assigns residents to all nursing attendants during your shift and on your units; giving each attendant specific directive as to the duties to be performed
- Follow- up on their work assignments to assure proper completion

Requirements
What is good to have: - Valid nurse license in the state of South Carolina
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
- CPR Certified
- Long-term care and electronic medical records experience preferred
- Intermediate computer skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
