JOB SUMMARY
Job Description Summary
The Physician provides direct clinical treatment services to patients, ensuring that patients receive the treatment necessary to treat their medical complaint. The Physician works constructively and collaboratively with other health professionals and focuses on attaining high standards of healthcare within their specialty.
Duties may include patient care, instructing, monitoring, and advising other health care professionals, as appropriate.

Cape Cardiology Group is home to experts in cardiac care and provides a range of services including cardiac rehabilitation, cardiovascular diagnostics and testing, and cardiovascular treatments and procedures. Certification & Licensures:
-Medical license in the State Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS.
-Must also maintain a Controlled Substance license for the State of Missouri and Federal DEA.
-Must have successfully completed, an accredited residency and fellowship program.
-Must maintain active medical privileges and medical memberships.
-Must be Board Certified within 2 years of hire date.
Responsibilities:
Join a practice of 14 physicians (3 Electrophysiologists, 6 Interventionalists, 1 Cardio-Oncology Specialist), and 12 Cardiology Advanced Practice Providers.
  • Work schedule: M-F 8:00am 4:30pm outpatient clinic
  • Call 1:5, consult-only (One Generalist and one Interventionalist on call)
  • 3 Inpatient Nurse Practitioners assist with weekday rounding on patients, and 1 Inpatient Nurse Practitioner assists with weekend rounding for on-call Cardiologist
  • Group has Echo read days and Cardiac CT read days.
  • EMR: EPIC
