What you will be doing:

- Process and manage requisitions and Purchase Orders (PO)
n - Review general ledger coding on POs to ensure accurate classifications
n - Receive shipments in the financial system
n - Work the payment queue from research to resolution
n - Suggest Lynden purchasing strategy for commodity/good/service products utilizing knowledge of consumer and vendor supply chain
n - Set the vendor negotiation strategy with Manager concurrence using the most impactful terms and conditions
n - Negotiate terms and conditions with the vendor while coordinating with Legal, Safety, and other affected departments
n - Initiate and lead supplier performance reviews with metrics, action plans, and follow-through to completion
n - Able to pull data from multiple sources to generate a cross-company spend profile on a specific commodity
n - Design and execute simple RFI/RFP/RFQs with input from cross-company, cross-department, and Manager
n - Identify improvements to policies and procedures and suggest revisions

- Minimum of 1 year of purchasing, buying, or administrative office experience or Associates of Arts in Business Administration
n - Proficient in Microsoft Office; Outlook, Work, and Excel

- Hybrid schedule with minimum 3 days onsite at our corporate office and 2 days offsitenn
- Live within commuting distance to SeaTac, WA

- The base wage range for this position is $66,000 to $76,000 per year. The actual offer will consider multiple factors including but not limited to experience, skills, internal equity, and other job-relevant considerations.
