Lynden Incorporated is seeking a Purchasing Analyst to work as part of our SeaTac based team.  In this role, you will assist in sourcing suppliers, processing purchase orders, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.This position is not safety sensitive.

What you will be doing:

  • Process and manage requisitions and Purchase Orders (PO)
  • n
  • Review general ledger coding on POs to ensure accurate classifications
  • n
  • Receive shipments in the financial system
  • n
  • Work the payment queue from research to resolution
  • n
  • Suggest Lynden purchasing strategy for commodity/good/service products utilizing knowledge of consumer and vendor supply chain
  • n
  • Set the vendor negotiation strategy with Manager concurrence using the most impactful terms and conditions
  • n
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with the vendor while coordinating with Legal, Safety, and other affected departments
  • n
  • Initiate and lead supplier performance reviews with metrics, action plans, and follow-through to completion
  • n
  • Able to pull data from multiple sources to generate a cross-company spend profile on a specific commodity
  • n
  • Design and execute simple RFI/RFP/RFQs with input from cross-company, cross-department, and Manager
  • n
  • Identify improvements to policies and procedures and suggest revisions

What we need from you (minimum requirements):

  • Minimum of 1 year of purchasing, buying, or administrative office experience or Associates of Arts in Business Administration
  • n
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Outlook, Work, and Excel

Preference if you also have:

  • Oracle or Workday ERP, preferred
nn

Your work schedule:

  • Hybrid schedule with minimum 3 days onsite at our corporate office and 2 days offsitenn
    • Live within commuting distance to SeaTac, WA
    • n
    • This position is not eligible for relocation

  • Available core hours Monday – Friday

  • The base wage range for this position is $66,000 to $76,000 per year. The actual offer will consider multiple factors including but not limited to experience, skills, internal equity, and other job-relevant considerations.
