The Department of Dermatology is seeking a highly motivated Clinical Research Coordinator II to support our clinical trials research studies. The successful candidate will work very independently and under very general supervision from a manager or Principal Investigator(s) to provide essential support to our research studies. The Clinical Research Coordinator II will be responsible for the following activities: Making independent judgment of suitability of potential participants for clinical trials Consenting patients Administering surveys to patients as part of clinical trials Participating in Clinical Trials Visits Developing and implementing patient recruitment strategies Recommending changes to protocols Chart review Coordination and completion of paperwork related to clinical trials The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree in health-related field or equivalent education and experience At least one year of work experience in a research setting. Sound independent judgment and competence in research methodologies. Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical trials Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Detail-oriented and highly organized Experience in clinical research preferred BWH is an Affirmative Action Employer.
