Your Position:
I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a manufacturing company in the field, of transportation located in Boucherville, an Electrical Engineer- day shift - Monday to Friday.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be in charge of the following tasks :
- Validate established procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency;
- Carefully review electrical drawings to ensure accuracy;
- Work on high-voltage systems, from 60V to 800V, while complying with safety standards;
- Carry out in-depth investigations to diagnose electrical problems and draw up detailed reports;
- Analyze faults in depth and work with the engineering team to find solutions;
- Perform customer service interventions, including remote diagnostics, problem solving and parts shipment management;
- Demonstrate excellent analytical skills to diagnose electrical faults quickly and efficiently;
- Participate actively in the field in collaboration with technicians and engineers.
- Contribute to the development of optimized work methods, training materials and team training;
- Have strong mechanical skills, to be able to remove components from a vehicle for investigation.

Your profile
-Degree in electrical engineering;
- Strong mechanical skills
- Member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec;
- Experience in the field of electric vehicles - an asset;
- Knowledge of automotive electrical systems and high-voltage safety standards;
- Knowledge of electricity and automotive mechanics;
- Proficiency in MS Office suite;
- Ability to travel within the United States;
- Flexibility to travel and adapt to various work environments;
- 90k to 105k depending on experience
