Job Summary:
Performs various patient care activities and related services in caring for the needs and comfort of patients under the direction of the physician or midlevel provider. RN duties include (but not limited to): assessing patients physical, psychosocial and behavior health needs; advocating for patient; administering prescribed medications, immunizations and preparing exam room, procedure room, and assisting providers; documenting in the EMR according to TSMH policy and procedures. Each position has specific requirements with unique duties and responsibilities.
Education and Training:
Associate's degree or Bachelors in healthcare administration or equivalent college coursework preferred.
Licensures/ Certifications:
Idaho State RN license required. Current American Heart Association's BLS/CPR certification card on hire or within orientation period
Experience:
Previous clinic experience preferred
Skills and Abilities:
Familiarity with medical terminology
