Job Summary**
n
We are seeking a dynamic RN to join our Peri-operative team. As an RN in CVOR setting you will collaborate with other members of the health care team including physicians, to deliver quality health care.In this role you will provide the best possible preventative and supportive intra-operative care to each patient based upon their individual needs. **
n
What you will do in this role:**
n
Recognize and address urgent and emergent surgical situation
nFoster continuity and quality of care in the best interests of patients
nAssess and monitor patients' medical status while in the OR
nAssess patient's condition and monitor vitals, providing general nursing care
nEnsure the Operating Room is prepared with all necessary supplies, implants, instrumentation, and equipment
nKeep the operating room sterilized
nReview charts for completeness, in accordance with documentation protocols
nCommunicate effectively with patients, teammates, and physicians to ensure continuity of care **
n
Requirements:**
n
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or able to obtain licensure prior to start is required
nMinimum of 2 years of recent RN Open Heart Surgical Services experience (May Consider 1 year of CVOR RN experience
nBSN is preferred
nBLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA Healthcare provider) required
nCNOR preferred
