The opportunity
We are seeking an Assistant Manager, PPSA Administration , who is skilled and motivated to oversee PPSA administration. The candidate should have strong leadership skills, be a good communicator and team builder, and be committed to excellence. They will manage a team of five PPSA administrators and ensure compliance, efficiency, and accuracy in PPSA-related processes.
Areas of focus
Team Leadership and Development Directly supervise, coach, and mentor a team of five PPSA administrators.
Coach team members navigate challenges and uncertainties, providing guidance and support.
Create a positive and inclusive working environment that encourages collaboration, innovation and personal growth.
Communicate job expectations, supervise and review job contributions. Acknowledge and reward employees.
Coach and lead employees, monitoring and managing performance, develop performance plans, set and review goals on an individual basis, and coach employees on their career development.
Assist with onboarding and training of new employees and the employee hiring process.
PPSA Process Management Oversee the end-to-end process for PPSA registrations, renewals, amendments, and discharges.
Ensure all filings are accurate, timely, and compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
Stay up-to-date on PPSA legislation and ensure the team adheres to all regulatory requirements.
Maintain organized and accurate records of all PPSA activities
Implement best practices and innovative solutions for process improvement.
Stakeholder Management Partner with internal departments, including legal, credit, and operations to support seamless PPSA administration.
Act as primary point of contact for resolving escalations and handling complex PPSA inquiries.
Qualification At least 2 years of experience managing or supervising a team.
Post-secondary education in business administration, finance, or a related field.
Excellent proficiency in relevant software such as Microsoft Office.
Successful incumbent Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate a team.
Ability to guide team members through uncertainty and foster resilience.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to multitask.
