PT Team position - Marietta & Woodstock, GA - 15 mins apart Northwest of Atlanta, GA LOCATION: CLIENT: Pinnacle Ortho SETTING: OP ortho START DATE: ASAP - open to January starts GUARANTEE: 40 hours ASSIGNMENT LENGTH: 13 Weeks or flexible on length - shorter or longer REQUESTED EXPERIENCE: OP ortho experience is preferred STAFF: Marietta clinic - 11 PTs, 3 PTAs Woodstock clinic - 5 PTs, 1 PTA (all hand therapists) EMR: eCW CASELOAD / PATIENT SCHEDULING: 10-14 patient case load o 11 pts/day 100% o 36 units/day 100% • Hour blocks for evaluations • No double booking • 30 min follow up one on one with obvious overlap for full session Onboarding - 6-10 patients for the first 2 weeks, then full schedule the 3rd week SCHEDULE: Flexible schedule options 58 410s 49 4hrs Friday All clinics close Friday at 4:30pm ADDITIONAL INFO: Job description- -Generalized orthopaedic physical therapy clinic with outpatient clientele ranging from post-op and non-post op patients of varying age, teens to elderly. We treat sports medicine post-op and non-op high school to weekend warriors, general post op surgeries, total joints from shoulder to ankle, as well as back and neck pain, etc. -Cancellation rate is 10-15%. Overbooking methods forcing a higher volume of patients on therapists schedules are not utilized in our clinic. -We employ PTA’s who assist, in addition to managing their own schedule (1 in Woodstock, 3 in Marietta) planning to add a physical therapy aide 1 x week in the Woodstock and Marietta locations, starting Jan 2025. -Pinnacle was previously a physician owned practice for 50 years, however, we are now a part of United Musculoskeletal Partners (UMP). Our physicians are on location and connected to our EMR, which is eClinical Works (eCW). Having our physicians on site and utilizing the same system eliminates the timely search for referrals, scripts, protocols, etc. We have open access to patient treatment history, surgical reports, x-rays and follow up care provided by physicians and physician assistants. This model encourages and provides a convenient ability to discuss patient care with physicians and PA’s as often as needed, allowing for an enhanced continuum of care and eliminating potential gaps in knowledge of recommended treatment plans.
