Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Post Partum Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/16/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Shift Schedule: Nights (6P-6A) | 3x12hours Qualifications: • Minimum 3years experience in Labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum - Required • Associates degree in Nursing - Required. • CO state RN/Compact RN License - Required. • ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP (AHA) - Required • AWONN Fetal Monitoring certification - Required Job Overview: Administer nursing care to patients in an efficient, safe, and courteous manner using appropriate nursing procedures. Duties: • Understanding of telemetry monitoring and maintains a knowledge of basic arrhythmia interpretation. • Supervises non-professional staff in delivery of care to assigned patients. Makes work assignments, assists with priority setting, and acts as a resource for less experienced staff. • Assists physicians in care of the patients. Makes rounds, assists with procedures, provides progress reports on patient status, and assures that orders are carried out in a timely manner. • Follows procedure for medication administration and processes for controlled substances. Utilizes EMAR including scanning all medications and armbands.
