Sets vision for Company for Travel, Expense, and Card. Responsible for executing the strategy across the company for Travel, Expense, and Card. Accountable for identifying, communicating and resolving risks and issues impacting financial, customer service, and quality for areas of responsibility. Reviews controls and operating effectiveness for all areas to mitigate risk (corporate card) and ensure employees are in compliance with policy and if not, reporting is in place to notify necessary groups. Benchmark with peer companies and/or industry associations to keep abreast of new changes, challenges and opportunities; create benchmarking measurements for key metrics. Understand the industry and the latest developments within the industry and apply best practices can be brought to T-Mobile. Cross-functional project participation and implementation, oversight of respective Travel, Expense, and Card third-party agencies relationship and performance: Participates in enterprise projects related to Travel, Expense, Card to ensure appropriate requirements are developed based on a solid understanding of the impacted systems and the transaction flow. Responsible to follow progress of projects and escalate any significant issues/escalations to upper management for resolution. Responsible for management of numerous third party agencies, including contract negotiations, compliance, controls, budget management, and SLA oversight. Team Leadership and Employee Development: Provide leadership, set direction to team on the "big picture" as well as the details and to be able to tie initiatives to company goals. Responsible to develop Department goals and vision. Communication downwards of company information; the “why” behind activities, connection to company goal/vision. Effective delegation to staff (with clear expectations and accountability). Accountable that Travel, Expense, and Credit Card policy changes are understood, requirements are thoughtful, internal controls are considered and changes are well communicated through the team. Have awareness of each person's career goals; hold development discussions; and provide challenging assignments to promote development. Manages and provides leadership, mentoring, coaching and career development planning for team members, and ensuring productivity is maximized and quality is delivered. Education: Bachelor's Degree: Business (Required) Work Experience: 4-7 Years: Manage a Corporate Travel, Expense, and Card program management for a Fortune100/Enterprise. (Required) 4-7 Years: Experience in RFI/RFP and contract negotiations. (Required) 2-4 Years: Management experience. (Required) Proven track record of leading high performing teams. (Preferred) Previous agency and/or payment operations experience.
