REQUIREMENTS: Must have previous forklift experience; preferably in a warehouse environment. Ideally, the candidate would be OSHA certified as a forklift operator. Regardless, all candidates must be able to follow and understand all forklift safety requirements and pass forklift certification. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Packaging Duties: Packaging Forklift support Pull product off packaging line Recording pallet counts accurately on the production sheet Place pallets in warehouse Operate packaging equipment to produce totes and 25kg pallets, including bag adjustment and general troubleshooting. Damage Product Handling: Responsible for identifying and moving damaged product to designated areas within the warehouse. Responsible for breaking down damaged pallets and restacking them per company requirements. Responsible for dumping damaged bags into super sacks for reprocessing per company requirements. General Sanitation Duties: Cleaning up product spills within the warehouse. Sweeping and cleaning the interior of the warehouse. Wiping down and keeping all equipment, railings, bumpers, and shelves/walls within the warehouse clean. Participation and support of quality-related activities and safety programs including training on Feed Safety, Product Quality, & Environmental Safety and Health programs. Miscellaneous projects related to the warehouse as needed.
