Wichita Tractor Co in South Hutchinson is looking for an experienced and efficient Service Writer to add to our team. This position will require communicating with customers from start to finish of repair of their machine. Also, managing technicians, completing work orders, working with OEMs on warranty claims from start to finish, and preparing job estimates. Duties: Proficient with computers including learning a new Business System, to typing, to working with filing claims and working with email Managing Technicians, providing them with a clear job description for repair, helping them to know what job is coming up to make sure parts needed are available Providing written estimates of repair work for customers Receiving unit when brought in for service, walking around machine with customer, taking down all notes from customer of needed repairs Communicating with customers, asking questions to help get the needed information for techs, along with helping to troubleshoot, also following up with customers throughout the repair process and noting any repair rejections from customers.
