Job Description
Our Clients Research and Development team is all about building the future of the operating room and office for patients and clinicians. As an R&D Electrical Engineer, you'll be at the heart of that mission, developing best-in-class capital systems as part of our comprehensive portfolio of solutions. All in an environment that encourages people to take measured risks, learn from mistakes, and push the boundaries of engineering. Must have an Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering Degree and 3-5 years experience in Medical Device or FDA regulated environment. Key Responsibilities: Support electrical hardware development, integration, and testing for capital systems. Collaborate with cross-functional experts in a wide range of fields to solve complex engineering and business challenges. Translate highly technical results into easily understood recommendations that will influence senior stakeholders. Manage third party designers, suppliers, and contract manufacturers to deliver high quality engineering solutions at an accelerated pace. Evaluate advanced and integrated technologies using both analytical and bench testing approaches. Requirements: Must have 3-5 years of experience. Proficiency with lab equipment including power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum/signal/logic analyzers. Solid background in Electrical Engineering concepts such as circuit theory and semiconductor physics. Proven self-starter who runs towards critical issues, ambiguous requirements, or loosely defined challenges. Skilled problem solver and hands on troubleshooter, experience with problem solving methodologies (i.e. Shainin, DOE, etc.) a plus. Design electrical systems and specify electrical components. Experience working in a regulated environment. Experience with Standards and Compliance such as 60601 a plus. Must have printed Circuit board and PCB experience, heavy documenting, problem solving, working with various development teams, and hands-on testing experience. J-18808-Ljbffr
