Responsibilities: Drafting Wills and Revocable Living Trusts: Prepare and review legal documents such as wills and revocable living trusts to meet the unique needs and wishes of clients. Conducting Signing Meetings: Meet with clients to explain and sign their estate plan documents, and answer any questions they may have about their customized plans. Client Consultations: Conduct comprehensive consultations with clients to understand their goals, preferences, and family dynamics. Effectively communicate and explain the legal aspects of wills and revocable living trusts to clients. Legal Research: Stay abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in estate planning. Conduct legal research as needed to ensure the accuracy and compliance of drafted documents. Document Review and Management: Oversee the review and organization of estate planning documents, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to legal standards. Collaboration: Work closely with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to facilitate a seamless client experience and maintain efficient workflow within the firm. Marketing: Cultivate and maintain relationships with referral sources through strategic meetings to effectively market the firm and drive new client acquisition. Minimum Requirements: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas. Prior experience in estate planning is not required. Experienced attorneys from other fields who have a desire to learn and grow in the field of estate planning are encouraged to apply. Strong legal drafting skills with a focus on wills and revocable living trusts. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and building trust.
