What we're looking for: - A clean driving record
- Self-motivated and able to follow direction well in the field
- A positive, customer-oriented attitude
- Prior experience in wood, leather and upholstery repair, in addition to basic computer skills, are not required, training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items, as required
- Pass a DOT drug screen and DOT physical
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Safely operate 26 foot box truck
What you'll be doing: - Safely operate and maintain a box truck for the purpose of picking up and delivering furniture
- Load and unload goods onto the truck, ensuring that they are securely strapped in place to prevent damage during transit.
- Plan and organize daily delivery routes to optimize efficiency and meet customer delivery expectations
- Provide exceptional customer service, including polite and professional interaction with clients during delivery drop-offs and pick-ups.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on the truck to ensure it remains in good working condition, reporting any mechanical issues to the appropriate supervisor.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring the safety of yourself, other road users, and the goods being transported.
Perform potential repairs or touch ups to product on site as its being delivered.
