OverviewnnThe Maintenance Supervisor will assist the Director of Maintenance in the continuous upkeep and management of all buildings, grounds, and properties, including off-campus housing for the College for Officer Training. This role involves overseeing and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure that all facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained.nnIn addition to managing day-to-day maintenance operations, the Maintenance Supervisor will play a key role in developing and implementing maintenance schedules, conducting regular inspections, and promptly addressing any repair needs. By fostering a proactive approach to facility management, the Maintenance Supervisor helps to enhance the overall environment for students and staff, ensuring that all properties meet the highest standards of safety and quality.nnResponsibilitiesnnIn conjunction with the Director of Maintenance, direct, supervise, and support the maintenance team.nnAddresses discipline concerns with the Director of Maintenance.nnAssist in the annual performance reviews of staff.nnAssist in the planning and preparation of training and orientation of new maintenance team members.nnAssess building systems to plan work assignments.nnMaintain fire evacuation drill logs.nnKeep accurate records of reports, handbooks, and policies on compliance with safety regulations.nnSupervises and assigns work tickets to the maintenance team.nnCollaborates with team members to discuss upcoming work assignments.nnReviews and approves materials, equipment, and supplies assigned for work tickets or projects.nnBe prepared to assist in completing general repairs such as painting, patching walls, hanging shelves and hardware, and other work assigned.nnIn collaboration with the Director of Maintenance coordinates renovation of approved projects.nnMeets with the Director of Maintenance on 1:1 to discuss overall operations, team efficiency, projects, costs, and scheduling of projects.nnAssists the Director of Maintenance in team meetings.nnEnsure Maintenance Staff follows proper safety policies and procedures.nnCoordinates the set-up and dismantling of areas for special events (on-site and off-site) related to CFOT.nnSupport the maintenance team with snow removal plans.nnServe as the point of contact for Emergency Call-Ins, assessing needs and providing assistance; this may include weekends and evenings.nnBe available to serve on committees.nnPerform all other duties as assigned by the supervisor or Director of Business.nnQualificationsnnAssociate's degree (A.
