As the Assistant General Manager (AGM), you'll be the driving force behind our success, partnering with the General Manager to steer daily operations, ignite sales performance, and create an unmatched customer-first experience. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Drive sales performance by mentoring and motivating the sales team to meet and exceed targets
  • Collaborate with the General Manager on strategic planning, sales event planning, inventory management, and business development initiatives
  • Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the dealership to ensure smooth and efficient workflow
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented culture that emphasizes collaboration, accountability, and excellence
  • Monitor key performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and nurture strong customer relationships through exceptional service and support
  • Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring all team members uphold dealership standards and address customer needs effectively.
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback and concerns with professionalism and urgency
  • Engage in thorough consultations with customers to understand their boating needs and preferences
  • Help develop other sales professionals and promote overall team sales growth 
  • Highlight our range of boats by offering expert product knowledge and tailored recommendations, present and negotiate pricing and financing options with customers, and prepare and finalize sales contracts along with related documentation.
  • Participate in the delivery and orientation process delivering boats to our customers.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and maintain up-to-date product knowledge
  • Promoting strong collaboration and clear communication between sales and service teams
  • Participate in trade shows and events to showcase our products and service

Minnesota Inboard Water Sports is a family-owned business established in 1992 that specializes in Malibu and Axis brand boats. We take pride in our family first atmosphere and company culture. We are one of the largest Malibu boat dealerships in the Country, and our company has always been focused on delivering outstanding customer service to support our products.

We are also closed from December 24th – January 1st for our team to spend time with their families over holidays.
