Job Description

We have an immediate opening for a Consumer Support Specialist!

Hours: 8am-5pm or 10:30am-7pm

Pay: $19.50/hour

Job Duties/Description:

  • Provide technical support and assistance to consumers on hearing instruments and connectivity products.
  • Manage approximately 20 calls per day; must be comfortable with spending significant time on the phone.
  • Connect consumers with authorized hearing care providers.
  • Offer solutions, support, and assistance to consumer requests, inquiries, problems, and complaints in a professional manner.
  • Maintain call logs and detailed reports in multiple systems.
  • Handle consumer calls and emails in a manner that fosters a positive experience.
  • Record notes for each consumer interaction into contact management software.
  • Identify and communicate potential trends, problems, and suggestions for improvement to the Supervisor.
  • Perform miscellaneous tasks/projects as directed by the Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
  • Must possess strong technical skills and be tech-savvy.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Preferably 1-2 years of customer service experience.
  • Experience with Bluetooth and mobile devices is preferred.
  • Ability to demonstrate patience when working with users who may be new to technology.
  • Genuine interest and desire to help people.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
