Requirements:

• 3 years’ experience working with EPIC systems, with a focus on Home Health and Hospice (Dorothy/Comfort) workflows, charge capture, and billing
• Epic Home Health Billing Certification
• High level understanding of Dorothy Comfort Billing workflows.
• Experience with build, testing, support, upgrades, and optimization

The role involves maintaining and optimizing the Dorothy and Comfort Application, with a focus on other IT-related projects as needed. The candidate must have a thorough understanding of Homecare and Hospice billing regulations and requirements. They should be knowledgeable about the functionality of Epic Dorothy and Comfort, including troubleshooting errors and recommending workflow improvements.

Key responsibilities include demonstrating expertise as an application systems analyst and in implementation activities. This involves conducting in-depth analyses of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues related to vendor software usage. The candidate will identify issues that could affect project deadlines and quality, escalating these to the Director of Patient Financial Systems as necessary. Additionally, they will collaborate with the Epic Resolute Hospital Billing and Claims teams to resolve issues and implement risk mitigation strategies.
