What we’re looking for + What you'll be doing:

• First + foremost: A Web Designer with at least 3 years of experience and a passion for putting out clean designs with lead generation in mind
• Familiarity with Wordpress, including designing with commercial themes
• Proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud
• A basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and designing for modern design frameworks, like Bootstrap
• Experience in UX writing and the ability to collaborate with our in-house writers
• Experience with CRO and user testing and the ability to gather data to make informed UX/UI design decisions based on testing, analytics, and industry knowledge. This includes working with the SEO + PPC teams to split test ad pages, etc.
• Work with the Lead Developer and Web Director to ensure the Design and Dev teams are in alignment with Hook's UI and theme standards, and propose design solutions to improve Hook's UI and theme.
• Okay with (and dare we say, EXCITED for) designing websites for clients in the home service industries

This position will have a start date after Jan 1, 2025 . While we aim to make the hiring process enjoyable and expeditious, we don’t want to rush through it to ensure we find the right person and the right fit for the role.

The salary range for this role is $65,000 -$70,000 annually and will depend on experience. We are in the office 3 days a week with optional work from home days on Wednesdays + Fridays.

New hires are required to work in-office 5 days a week for their first month while they integrate into the team. We have a 30-day probationary period in place with all roles.
