Civil Project Manager

Salary : $110,000 - $150,000

Company Summary: As a seasoned multidisciplinary engineering organization in the Northwest on planning, landscape architecture, and land surveying, we have been providing innovative design solutions to clients in the public and private sectors. We are seeking a professional civil engineer to join the Tacoma office with project management expertise. You will work on a variety of projects, such as apartment buildings, commercial and mixed-use developments, industrial warehouse developments, and single- and multi-family residential subdivisions.

The Civil Project Manager will be responsible for:

• Oversee and guide engineering personnel
• Direct projects and communicate directly with jurisdictions and clients
• Manage the entire civil engineering project lifecycle, including project planning, design, and execution
• Head all engineering operations, which include scheduling, budgeting, and collaborating with other fields
• Supervise all engineering operations such as planning, allocating funds, and working with other disciplines

The Civil Project Manager should have the following qualifications:

• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or similar
• 10 or more years of experience designing civil sites, utilities, grading, storm drainage, stormwater management, and preventing erosion and sedimentation in parts of Western Washington
• 3 or more years in a civil consulting capacity with a steadily increasing pattern of responsibility, which included managing client relationships and staff mentoring
• Solid track record of managing projects, including creating and overseeing budgets and timelines, for site development initiatives
• Hands-on experience using Civil 3D to create construction documents
• Hands-on experience with storm water modeling using MGS Flood, WWHM, and other software
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
