Massoud Furniture Manufacturing is looking for an experienced AutoCAD Designer to work closely with production, engineering and quality management to resolve any programming/manufacturing issues that may occur. In this role you will be expected to jump in feet first and help us improve current designs and work closely with the woodshop. Responsibilities/Skills

• Advanced skill level in AutoCAD software 2D
• AutoCAD 3D would be helpful
• Experience with Router-CIM preferred
• Experience with G code preferred
• Optimize machine programs and nests for optimal time and material usage
• Adhere to project schedules to support production
• Identify and assess issues and provide fixes
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel proficiency

Language Skills

- Must speak, read and write fluent English (Spanish a plus)

- Read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and memos

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in same/similar position
• Ability to work independently and closely follow directions
• Prior experience working in AutoCAD in a manufacturing facility required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail
