Electrical Engineer
Location: Pleasanton, CA (Onsite)
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze existing designs to identify Critical to Quality (CTQ) parameters from product requirements.
- Update subassembly/component specifications to align with identified CTQs.
- Review component-level DFMEA to ensure specifications include sampling plans based on risk levels.
- Provide sustenance support for existing products, including design changes and addressing component obsolescence.
- Lead component redesign and qualification efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance design and performance.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and vendors for timely and cost-effective component procurement.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, especially in the medical field.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in analog, digital, and power electronics.
- Extensive knowledge of the product development lifecycle.
- Strong analytical skills for requirements assessment.
- Experience in the medical domain is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for effective supplier and vendor interaction.
- Ability to optimize designs to meet specific requirements.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with medical device regulations and standards.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools and simulation programs.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
