As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer to join our dynamic team.


Job Summary:

The Interior Designer will be responsible for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces for our commercial clients. This role requires a strong ability to translate client needs into design concepts, manage projects from start to finish, and collaborate with our sales and installation teams. Commercial office furniture dealer experience is highly preferred.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget to create customized interior design solutions.
  • Develop space plans, furniture layouts, and design presentations that reflect the client’s vision and DBI’s design standards.
  • Specify and recommend commercial office furniture, finishes, and materials to meet project requirements.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to present design concepts and product recommendations to clients.
  • Manage design projects from initial concept through installation, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
  • Work closely with vendors, contractors, and installation teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Stay current with design trends, furniture lines, and industry standards.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of interior design experience, preferably in commercial or office furniture environments.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, CET Designer, or similar platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial furniture products and space planning.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, sales teams, and contractors.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

  • Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with a commercial office furniture dealer.
    • NCIDQ Certification or working towards it.
