Job Summary
The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing supply chain processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring cost-effective operations. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and a thorough understanding of supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze supply chain data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and production teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Forecast demand and plan inventory levels to meet business goals.
- Use tools and systems (e.g., SAP, Excel, Tableau, Power BI) to generate reports and dashboards.
- Support supply chain projects, such as process improvements and system implementations.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure business continuity.
- Maintain and update supply chain documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or a similar role (preferred).
- Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Familiarity with inventory management and demand planning.
- Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP) is a plus.
